Tarang Dilruba Player Avtar Singh Namdhari
Would you like to make Indian music more accessible to people of all races, ages and ethnic backgrounds?

You can make a difference by supporting Tarang, the Indian classical music ensemble. Tarang is not only a group of young musicians, exploring a career in Indian music, but is also a wonderful tool in bringing together people of all backgrounds. Tarang concerts are accessible to all, and present a window into Indian culture. They also inspire young people to take up Indian music.

Tarang can provide work in new areas of the country, aMusicians rehearsingnd inspire musicians to join in, through workshops and new performances. We are also developing an education plan to create opportunities for young people around the country, and influence schools and colleges to have an experience of Indian classical music. Tarang musicians themselves need individual training and support to pay for private tuition and professional development.

If you would like to be a part of this movement, and make a real difference to the lives of young musicians, please contact the Director of Operations at tarang@milapfest.com or 0151 707 6645.
